Dr Davis graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010, completing his residency at Nambour and Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospitals before working as an unaccredited orthopaedic registrar at the Princess Alexandra, Queensland Children's and QEII Hospitals.

In 2020 he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Davis continues to work as a surgical assistant as well as a specialist general practitioner.
